    Default 2006 Passat odometer mileage correction

    2006 Passat , need to do odometer mileage correction.
    only needs mileage to be changed in cluster ?
    and what eeprom 24c32 ?

    if cluster is out of the car ?
    Can the mileage be corrected just on the eeprom chip in the cluster ? Or also needs to be done in immo and ecu ?

    I think it's also possible, you just have to locate the lines of 12+ and GND and Ch / Cl, as the case may be.

    is there eeprom I can reprogram ?
    I have eeprom programmer but for obd tool I only have launch x431

    It should be a 24c32 inside ...must disasemble whole dash

    Yes, 24C32 inside but km is stored encrypted. Impossible to change mileage without knowing key from Micronas. oBD job or Xprog-m by reading key from Micronas. Don't waste your time looking for none existing solutions...
