Default How repair hibrid “transistor” on Opel HSFI-2.1

What is the element? FET or IGBT?
All pins are short-circuited on this element.
I had a link and picture with a solution from Russian blog, but I lost it
    Did someone fix this?

    Edit:

Now i see that the man had problems on all mosfets. The picture links that verry well. On the other side of discussion... How the * can you repair an ecu and leave an external "3rd little hand" to hang like a dog in the owner's leash? For Christ, put it inside the ecu!

Dude, you're thinking wrong. The transistor is glued on the inside of the lid, then the ECU is closed.

there is no mounting space inside with enough cooling area. the outside lead and sufficient moisture protection is ideal for this ecu. if you have a working version of a repair with a transistor inside, please send photos.
