    Hello
Check the connector from the sofdog and interface. Also check the solder pads at these connectors.

Look here: http://blog.obdii365.com/2015/11/16/...d-red-light-on. If you have correctly connected and activated and the device does not work, check the solder fields in the FVDI interface.

Forgive me, but my poor knowledge of English is a problem.
Which version of FVDI do you have? Is this the first launch of FVDI? On which operating system did you install FVDI?
Does the device manager appear in the device manager after connecting FVDI?
Have you read the FAQ at "http://www.fvdiobd.com/fvdi-faq.html".

Install a virtualbox and place Windows XP on it. Then install FVDI and then check. We must rule out the problem of drivers.

In Windows 7, Windows XP mode is not the same as Virtualbox. Please :
    1. Download from Virtualbox at: https: //www.virtualbox.org and install on Windows 7.
    2. Download the VirtualBox Extension Pack and install .
    3. Install Windows XP on Virtualbox.
    4. Run Windows XP on a virtual machine.
    5. Install the FVDI software on Windows XP.
    6. Restart Windows XP.
    7. Connect FVDI to the computer.
    8. Select the FVDI interface driver in the Virtualbox menu and start the FVDI software.

After connecting fvdi to the computer, a new device should appear in the Virtualbox menu "Devices / USB Devices / VendorID ....", which should be selected for connection.
If you have made these steps correctly, you probably have a faulty FVDI interface. With a certain probability, we can assume that the flash is damaged. If you get the right file (FVDI firmware) for your version of the interface, you can use the free Flashmagic program and the appropriate programmer to program the interface. I am afraid that your interface has committed "harakiri".
