    Default Megane/Clio

I think I posted this in the incorrect place.

I have a customers Clio III with a Megane R26 engine fitted run by a Sagem S3000 ECM. Coolant fan is running all of the time with no DTC's related to the problem. In engine data the Fan command is activated though. Looking at the data I can see the coolant temp (Vdiag 4C) at a correct value, but there is also a Coolant Temp (Vdiag 44) at -44 C, which would indicate a default value if the sensor was open circuit or disconnected. I have searched everywhere but cannot find another coolant temp sensor or connector, any idea's.

    Thanks
    John

    Data Reading
    Engine coolant temp (Vdiag 4C) 63 C
    Engine coolant temp (Vdaig 44) -44 C

2 different data channels, one seems correct, the other looks like an open circuit default setting. I cannot find another coolant temp sensor or connector, and I have no fault codes relating to coolant temp, and as I mentioned in the original post, the cooling fan is running constantly and is commanded on by the engine ECM.
