when you change something in an eeprom part of flash you have to correct ckecksum before writing back...
when you change only an eeprom you donīt have to do checksum correction...

ok, but if i am changing map with a tuned map which is allready done by customers and i need to write it to ECU flash, do i need to recount checksum one more time ?

opel corsa-d 2007 marelli Z13dth mjd602, doing with KTM100(china trasdata), it has option to read/write: MCU, ext flash, ext eeprom. And if I am changing just extflash, car doesnt start- ECU offline.
