Default Peugeot 308, change code in eeprom

    Hi, To all members:

I read this ecu by using KTAG.

In the eeprom which is built in the micro controller, I have the code, exampe 4KTX, first ecu.

I have another ecu which is inside the car that can start, I have the code is WW4E, second ecu.

My question is, can i just edit and write ( using KTAG ) the WW4E into the first ecu, so that I have same code for this ecu in order to start the car ?

The second question is, when write to eeprom, will it be checksum error ?

The third question is, if I edit and write 'FFFF', will the ecu act as new one ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards.

    1. Most other ECU's will not be successful but you may try on this ECU and let us know. Why not clone the whole eeprom as the ECU is already on the bench?
    2. No
    3. You may try this too but many people use good virgin dump for it

Thanks for the web site that you share.

What is the eeprom code( something like 25020, 93128 ) on this emulator ?

    Something like Julie ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards.
