2012 Toyota Yaris no keys

This vehicle has been bought from an auction with no working smart key available, another locksmith upon removing the the smart box noticed that every 8 legged eeprom had been off the board!

Upon reading the correct chip ST95160 the data on the chip is wrong, so my question is, has anyone got a virgin file I can try please?

Found this from another member is a virgin file, not sure if it will work, you're missing all 8 legs eeprom, you should get used smart box and write virgin, if doesn't work you will need to sync with ecu and steering lock, should be a set somewhere in the forum.

Thanks klaudio but this file didnt work. When using AVDI to create a file using the new key we have bought from the dealer AVDI is asking to use a 98 Tiris DST+ key, the correct key for this vehicle is a Valeo 899040D100, this smart key has a ID46 PCF7945 chip.

The model number for the car is NSP130R-CHXGKW. Thee eeprom is a ST95160.

Has anyone got the correct filr?

found this file that could be what you need, i think is a virgin file and don't know if it will work, is a start, 899040D100 should be the correct key and is not id46.

I looked it up, there are id46 for toyotas, didn't find any solutions only people looking for answers. I think there were only suggestion to replace with new.

Thanks for the file you sent klaudio but again it failed to solve the problem, its not a virgin file and AVDI recognises the file as an unknown file. If you try and reset the ecu it starts the procedure and says its going to take 15 mins please leave the drivers door open, it says complete after 30 secs and hasnt reset the ecu.


Rang Toyota yesterday to see if we could get a new Smart Box part no. 89990-0D030 was told this is now a discontinued part!

Has anyone else got a virgin file we can try?

id46 hope not to run across this one. I see a few smart key ecu used ones online, didn't see one with a key as a set, not sure about programming.
