Default Cheap chinese key cutting machines?

    Hello.
I am searching for a cheap key cutting machine. My eyes stopped on Sydney dr Lock 368A.
Is anyone using it or can someone tell me about other cheap machines?

    $50 , 368A work fine on " laser key " , ordering cutter 2 , 2.5 & 3 mm too .

I got several cutting machines including xc002 and 368a. If you got manual skills you can make good key copy on 368a, but it is pain in a**. Comparing to xc002 the 368a lack of stiffness of construction, good jaws and good bearings. Most of people who got only this machine makes keys which I never gave to customer because of poor precission.

So I recommend you buy xc002, for this money it is best machine and work with it is pleasure.

With new market Chinese " key case + blade" to cutting , mine never fail one copy !
lot of locksmith hesitate to buy 368a , they lost lot of money for nothing .
    2 philosophy , $ 3000 automatic key cutting ( never money back ) and manual key cutting ( $ 150 to 800 ) to fast money back .

    CONDOR XC-MINI for $ 100 price / cutting ( emergency all key lost )

    xc002 for $30 price / cutting

    368a for $10 price / cutting

    Depend of your business

I will soon decide what to buy. We've been using Ilco Orion Nova 2000 for almost 15 years now,but the jaws are now terrible to work with.Amazing machine, thought.
    Thanks for the replies.

I bought used silca machines, with only good bearings. Now just have to sharpen the cutters, or buy new ones. All three machines are working fine and precise.

When money matters, I think a good used machine can do wonder

I haven't thought about buying a used machine which is not a bad idea.We are using the "Ilco Orion Nova 2000" machine from almost 15 years and only the jaws are wiped out.Amazing machine I recommend it!
