    Default TD5 Tune

Hello I have a friend with TD5 Defender 90 he has very large intercooler and larger vaned turbo. He had a remap previously where he sent ecu off and had it returned tuned. Apparently the guy who did the tune soldered in a boost chip to allow you to boost what you want without it cutting out?? as we have to control the boost using the boost controller as far as I am aware it cant be changed in the map? could someone do a tune for possible 30psi boost?, or give me a little more details on this so called "boost chip" he talks about

    thanks all!
