Try code 1620............
I need help in finding code for this old radio as a favour to a friend.
Grundig SCD 5390 INFORMAT
GR0981Y0132000
This is what it says on a label, but the numbers are blurry(not sure 100%),i have a motorola cracker v6.2.If the serial decode doesn`t help can anyone provide a working dump with code ,and a little reminder where the pins are conected on a MC68HC11KA4 MCU.Thanks in advance, the last motorola i did was 4 years ago(not a professional). The radio is not with me yet,so maybe it is bricked already.Any help appreciated....
Try code 1620............
try 8041 let me know if it works
I let you know tomorrow, the radio is at my workplace.Any chance to get dump with known code for tomorrow, because i can only recode it there.Just in case,to have it at hand...
Can anyone send me the file in inbox from this page

Tried 1620 at code 6 - nothing,I didn`t wait for the 8041 code-too long time to try,but tried to read the MCU with mot cracker v6.2,after I succeeded to download the dump from the link above.I didn`t succeed in booting the MCU with this programmer, and after i finished ERROR 1 was on display. On the MCU pin 61,62 TX,RX 58 RESET 59,60 MOD A and MOD B grounded, and the power supply from the radio on.What am I doing wrong?I tried to reverse 61 and 62 thinking RX and TX are substituted-nothing.I need help in connecting this thing to finish the job.Any help appreciated....
in the processor was activated protection from reading and native dump erased
Try to record this dump and the radio will work
I have problems in the connection,i know about security bit,but i didn`t succeed to boot the MCU....maybe pinout is the problem, maybe i connected the MCU wrong.....MOD A and MOD B on the unsoldered chip are they the problem?
freq 8,664 mHz
mod a - 60
mod b - 59
reset - 58
rx - 61
tx - 62
V dd - 1
gnd - 67
mod a & mod b short to gnd
if there is no connect - de-solder the temporarily allocated elements

Tried everything, with the connection above, the damn thing just wont boot.Current state is still trying to connect to the MCU,dump is ready, and the ERROR 1 on display, tried with the parts removed....What am I doing wrong?Win XP machine,MOT.CRACKER v6.2.WIth this I managed to decode beta IV earlier without any problems.....Is there any trick i don`t know about?

Thanks treran21,with your assistance nothing new...connection stayed the same but again unable to connect the MCU.Either the chip is damaged or the cracker 6.2 is not the tool to read this chip....if anything else is possible i will try it,so far it seems i am unable to do this radio.
I sent archive , you just need to download the . In it both the program and the step-by-step instruction. For a long time already everything should work. Did you download what I sent in PM ?
use the software which is in the archive, it works flawlessly.

what is the osc setings?
I tried to test max232 in hyper terminal, not sure the cracker works fine(the letters i sent didn`t appear returned)....last time used last year,I did download the files you sent me,tried with program and manuals in it ,it says some kind of error in conection. The osc settings are 8,664 -1309-0058 in baudrate settings, and the same frequency is in the radio crystal .I will try to change the chip and check the functionality of the cracker since the connection is the problem. As i said, last time was used in beta IV to decode, and it was done with success and from the first time i used it.
Try read version 6.0 ka4 or k4
