Default 2016 Chevy Tahoe Odometer Correction Help

Tried to adjust odometer on 2016 Tahoe using
OBD Star x300 gives me security failure
Super Sbb2 gives me security failure
Has anyone had any luck or know which tool can do this adjustment?

One more question before I sound like I do not know what I am talking about...

    I have TECH 2

and a China GM MDI, loaded GDS2 on a VM...

Do I need to run these tools to pull the current BIN, or can I skip all that, open the BCM and read its EPROM data direct.

Tech2 or MDI cannot read eeproms.
Please DO NOT PM me asking for help.

Post in the forum, that is what it is here for.

OK so just read with clip and post I assume.

That's why I ask because I am not sure, never did miles on 2016 Tahoe where info is in BCM.

I talked to obdstar they said they can do 2016 but not 2017.

But have to pay for 1 year update.

But going to read eprom manually and post, thank you.

Do not attempt to use a cheap tool such as OBD star on a newer vehicle it can cause a headache, if your not worried about hours your cheapest option would be a Universal Programmer Such As Willem or Bee Prog Etc. If you dont know what we are talking about your outta your league.

If you want to Do via OBD can be done up till 4/16 or 5/16 Build date with Smelecom, anything after Jprog Only and pulling BCM.
Had a issue Had a issue with my uploads so if you see one of my posts and need that dump let me know and I'll post it!

As far as programmers go I've been using GQX4x4 which is a Willem I am told.

But I've been sticking to vvdi prog since more and more updates have been released for it and it's been super stable reading in circuit as well.

Yeah I spoke with obdstar I was thinking about adding another year of updated but they said just as you said.

2016 Vehicle can be done but 2017 can not.

I'll probably just read the dump and post it when I get the vehicle again.

This way everyone can sort of learn or have it on record in the forum to look back at it.
