    Default Vw mib 1 panasonic

    Hi

    I need to change mib1 panasonic unit i saw there is a eeprom in it, is it possible to swap it, that component protection and navlock will not get active??

    Hello,

    if you are going to swap headunit from another car there is a problem called component protection. You need to remove it. First way is official, in car service by online diag. Second way is to find "hacker" (there are few persons which can do that).

    both ways will remove all activated functions, i mean navigation, bluetooh, carplay...

    hacker can activate them back

    No solution for Panasonic units.
    Best way is to swap to some MIB2 unit
    MIB 1/2 Solution
    CP-OFF, Activation CarPlay Android auto map care, US/EU conversion
    WhatTheFec, Advanced Green Menu
