    Default Vcds clone 18.2.1 UK

    Hi guys

Where is the best place to buy one of these.

From what I've been reading I need to look for one with a atmega chip.

I would also like to be able to update it in the future .

I've seen some on aliexpress but they all say they can't be updated.

Waste of money and time..The clones never worked fine, everytime head pain.
After buying 3 clones I've decided to buy the original. Tried to bid on second hand one but too much, around £250 and iif you want to join the forum for support need to pay $99.
Decided to go for the original. £256 eBay german seller unlimited vin. Now it's around £300 .
    Always work, got support
    Good luck

    From Aliexpress

There is a big thread here on dk about Vcds clone. "Vcds vag-com everything "
    Try to read it..
They were talking about a good clone on obdii. It has the pins and you can download file from dk and can write it on it with avr USB programmer and will work better. .

    Thanks

I actually looked on that thread before making this thread but I couldn't see any recommendations for 18.2.1

Original HEXNET is shite. I bought the proper one and I wish I had stuck to clones. Half the time it shits itself when connected to a module. And it aint the computer. Other people having same problems.
    V Series TMS470 / EEPROM data - encryption / decryption, totally pwned.
