    Hello,

    what is a safe tool to read Astra H 1.7 CDTI 110 hp since kess has grey protocols on it?

    kess 5.017 china red pcb does it ok.

    if is denso ecu ....i use mpss to read and write ...and no problem

    I could acces mpps v12 but not sure if that reads all data.I dont wanna lose injectors code or other horror stories I heard.

    mpps v18.... V12 is too old.

    KESS can read eeprom as well, so it is a bit better concerning the "saftey".

    It seems like the ecu is EDC16c9 with no read by kess.

    Is it ok to get ID , download full BDM then write by OBD?

    I read and wrote edc16c9 a few times using kess china clone. every time without a problem

    Kess never read edc16c9. C39 ok, but c9 is only write.

    you're right. sorry for misleading. I read edc16c39. human memory can be unreliable

    Tried with kess and..

    WARNING
    an error occurred during the writing.

    I got this error during OBD and ecu bricked .

    Hope it can recover by BDM

    No recovery works by OBD since all of tries succed in same error.ID was ok

    It also can be recovered with SPS done with Tech2 or Mdi.

    No result even with BDM.File has checksum ok,but car does not start....this is horror ecu ...Does not even ID
