    Hi!
Could you please help to repair corrupt Eeprom? (DTC: P1603-EEprom malfunction; P1187-variant selection)
    Mazda 3 - EDC16C3.

I have eeprom read with BDM 100.

Or may be a Full BDM for ECU: 0281011534 3M61-12A650-AC ?

    Well.
    Mazda 3, 2004 - EDC16C3.
    Brief story:
The owner of the car decided to change ECU, he desoldered eprom from original ECU and placed it to another one. Problem wasn't solved. Then he decided that I would have this car repaired. I found the problem was in CAN wiring, I repaired CAN. Then I returned Eprom to original ECU. Now diagnostic scanner can connect with ECU, engine starts. But I have "P1603-EEprom malfunction", when I start the car - "P1187-variant selection" also appears. And there's DTC about Injector codes problem and I can't write them (I tried different diagnostic scanners).

I just think the eprom is corrupted. One of the way to repair it I think is may be to find a good eprom and to place my synchro into it. Or what can we do?
P.S. In post #9 I uploaded eproms from my car.

here's a 100% example of how to damage an ECU
test the file and let me know how successful the repair is
and don't do such stupid things anymore, because in real life such a repair is expensive

    Kiszka, thanks

P1603 dissapeared. DTC about injector codes also dissapeared. No any other DTCs.
And after 5 minutes I get "P1187 ECM variant selection" and "P1639 ECM programming" and "limp home" mode.

    Is there any other possibility?
