Simon touch ESL recover when nec faulty

hi guys

anyone use ST to do this

i love the tool its great
but the odd occasion it takes forever to unlock the NEC in the ESL

has anyone else come across this ?

pop down your rough times it usually takes to unlock

i did one yesterday and it initialized in 10 seconds and enabled blocked esl in 10 mins
today im doing one its been on the go since 1pm and its now 7:30pm

ps my chip legs re always clean as i run the chip on 2000 sandpaper and then rub the top of the legs clean too.
they are that clean they are back to copper

any pointers guys.
