    Default MG-Rover 2004

    I have MG-Rover mg zs 115 td 2004 with broken remote key . Can any one explain what IMMO is inside ,what transponder ?? I am not familiar with this brand .

    There is no transponder. The immobiliser is disarmed by the remote.
    There is a barcode on the package when you buy a new remote, This needs to be entered into SCU (body module). With the immobiliser armed you have to add remote barcode directly into the eeprom.

    Another way to do these if you can find a second hand /new from ebay, is to swap the ic, from old to new, i have done few,and it should work, if the ic not been damaged, you can charge £££££s on these.
