    Whos tried Parallels 17 on the M1 chip macs?

    Is it worth getting?

    Works, even with M1 Pro on the new MBP 16", didnt test with games tho.

    I use it with an m1 mb pro for the last year, much easier than VM, mainly for spreadsheets and old window programs. I like it as its best of both os, no stutter. The M1 is limited on graphics so gaming might be limited. But as a work machine its excellent. Can't get a fully working cracked Mac version, so had to bite the bullet and pay for a sub. but all software win side works fine, you can still patch, use keygen etc in the win environment.
    The only other thing, is as its on an arm 64 architecture , the os options aren't there, but you get insider previews from Microsoft for free, so from time to time you have to do a fresh install. But you can have multiple win os ,and linux distro, installed as well.

    Just a side note.

    I use kess, autodata etc, but that's on an old Thinkpad with win7

    I wouldn't rely on parallels for vehicle tuning or using any data interface software. Win 11 would be a right headache.
