    Default Crankshaft/canshaft signal generator

    Hi mates.

    I am working with MST9000 to test ecu´s on bench. But signal generator is not good to make all versions of ecu´s. What is an good standallone signal generator for this job ?

    Have a look here for the Yokogawa FG420: Cost an arm and a leg, but video gives you an idea what to look for.

    Have you heard of a project called ardu-stim?
    It’s an Arduino uno based crank/cam signal generator.

    Once select trigger pattern can set for rpm to fixed value or sweep.

    Google it, they have a Facebook page too.

    Autoditex do one that's not too expensive. Easy enough to program a pic16f84 or similar and a few discrete to do the job if you don't want to spend.
