Default Peugeot 307, BSI changed original km, please help.

    Hello, everyone.

I come to see you today because I made a mistake on the car of someone from ly family.

It has ventilation problem that drives me crazy! The indoor fan works well, but you can not adjust the temperature or direction of the airflow !!!

I wanted to swap the A/C controls to see if it came from there from another car. Then I wanted to change the BSI to see if it came from it. As the 2 gave nothing, I put everything back where it should be on both cars. But upon restarting the car, surprise, the km have changed! Instead of having 98000 km, the car got 208000 km. It's the BSI km that comes from the "donor" car.

I also have a weird thing when we open the door, we can hear the same "bip" as the one you hear when you forget the key in the igntion. And there is a time gap between the time I turn the key in the door lock and the time the doors open...

Most important thing is the km, it would be necessary to rectify in the dashboard only since the BSI is supposed to have the original km in memory or not ? Or when I put the original BSI in place the dashboard has overwritten the original km of the BSI?
Is there a way to check the original km in the BSI with pp2000?

    Car is a peugeot 307 2l HDI 110HP from 2001

    BSI is valeo 9644098180

    How to fix my stupidity?

Which hardware do I need ? I have carprog and copy of lexia.

    Thank you.

youŽll need something like for example... orange5 or xprog...

I dontŽt use ever carprog but I think, it could also be done by carprog...

That's the thing, I already did...

It only gives me 3 choices for bsi. It gives me valeo numbers, and I don't know which one corresponds to mine.

I'll take pictures and post them here.

    Thanks.

Hello guys, I managed to read bsi with carprog.

I then changed mileage to what I thought the car should be with NYO4

I then wrote back the file to the bsi.

I tried to reset the dash with : pin 6 to + and pin 16 to -

I plugged the dash first without bsi and turned the key on, I waited 5 minutes

Then took the key out, plugged in BSI and turned key on. Odometer was exactly where I wanted it, so I started the car !!!

Unofrtunately, after a few seconds I had a look at the dash again and it was back to where it was...

    Did I miss something ?

Do I absolutely have to edit the nec dashboard or did I do something wrong ?

    Thank you.

If someone wants to see me dumps, I can send them as PMs. Thanks.
