Default YARIS BOSCH ECU 89661-0D012 NEED DUMP (MK1 PETROL)

Hi, I had the keys to my car + my phone stolen recently.

Just got replacement keys and barrels, but need to flash the ECU.

Does anybody know if its simple case of editing data with a hex editor or are the contents of the serial flash ICs different in each ECU?

Given that the various different makes of ECU have to work with the same key transponder amplifier, I guess there is a reasonable chance that the contents could be the same across the board.

I'll try reading the EEPROM and see what lies beneath...

Seems that this ECU has a 25080 SPI EEPROM of 8KB in size, IIRC, EEPROM dumps for other ECUs are very small files..

Hope that somebody can help - haven't been able to drive my car for 2 weeks

Seems that the EEPROM might be a ST 35080

If anyone can provide a working virgin dump for this ECU I'd be happy to send a bit of money by Paypal or bank transfer to say thanks...

OK Guys/Girls, well thanks for all your support/consideration

After reading the relevant datasheets, I ordered a CH341 programmer from ebay for around £4.

The 95080 SPI Flash in my Bosch ECU isn't covered in the CH341 software, but I was able to read it as a 25080 (I think iirc, the 95xxx series are the same as the 25xxx series, only they have a small area at the beginning of the chip which can't ordinarily be written to, this is used for odometer etc, thats not the part im after though, of course )

The EEPROM dump looks to be in the correct format.

One thing Im concerned about is that I only have two keys, and the "learning" process needs two master keys and a valet key..

Maybe I could just use a random 125khz tag i have lying around from a door entry system from an old flat in lieu of the valet key... or the one embedded in my dog's neck

    Will post my progress!

Hmm, OK I can write to the chip, but when it's writing, the bytes are being swapped.. not too much of a problem to sort out, now to find where I put that virgin dump...
