    Hi Guys
My name is Toby and my brother (a neanderthal on PCs) has been given an old Dell Optiplex GX240. He only wants to use it for letter writing and basic surfing.
I've put a new HD in, but I can't do anything with the BIOS because it is asking for Setup Password. Can you tell me what it might be please?
The BIOS version is A02 and the Service Tag is JZYJC0J (ends zero J)
    Thanks
    Toby

    Hi Smoggy

    Introduction done :-)

Thanks for the quick reply, but my tag didn't end -595B, it was JZYJC0J (ends zero J).

    Thanks for you help.

although they sometimes don't show tags end with either -595B or -2A7B or -D35B
tags and passwords are also case sensitive

did you try the password I gave
