Whats the best way to hook a truck to a laptop.

I'm having some issues with an international/maxxforce truck. I'm currently in the process of getting servicemaxx installed on a laptop. After I get the software whats my best route on the hardware to hook the truck to the laptop?

I have exactly the same question, does Nexiq 125032 works on International Maxxforce engines? If you happen to know the answer I´ll appreciate your help.
