Default 2011 clio 1.2 wont start after crash

    Hi,
Has anyone else had this problem, i have had two this week,
not very heavy damage but air bags deployed,
i reset the airbags and all lights are off for airbags but it will not start, no communication is possible with the ecu with clip or modis all fuses are ok its as if the ecu has locked its self?
no immo light flashing but the mil light is on,
can anyone offer me any advise to get these cars going again please

    BR
    Dave

its normal for vehicle to not run after airbags deployed, in engine ecu you will need to go into starting conditions and reset impact detected codes, if no comunication and no ignition lights check fuse box on n/s inner wing

There are some more fuse boxes under that fuse box on N/S head light..........remove that fuse box and you will see some more fuses under there...............

hi a guy i know repaired 1 of these 2010 or newer clio.
car wouldnt start etc so he gave me control module to reset. out of curiousity he tried again then the car started with no airbag control module, so try that, and when reset module needs reconfigured. !

Disconnect the battery remove airbag fuse or connector ,clear fault codes in ECM (EVEN if there aren't any)
Say a prayer and/or have a beer, this should do it!
A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection

from memory fuel pump inertia is built into airbag module on clio III's and many more newer cars, erase crash data should fix, even if airbags have not been deployed they can still trigger a code and shutdown fuel pump
