    Default 2006 W211 key doesn’t turn anymore

Anybody know if OtoSys IM600 can do 2006 w211 Key progrmming? Original Key doesn’t respond anymore, not even buttons, no Hz signal out. Want to program another key, have EIS already out but don’t see function on IM600 for Mercedes key programming

    Maybe key PCB faulty!
Take another donor key and replace NEC from original key.

Yes. I just wanted to know if I can use tool for Mercedez key programming if there is a situation with all keys lost. But I will replace NEC on this one to be done with it. Thank you.

Hi. I have a question for you, I’m sure you’ve run into this. Can’t find a good donor PCB identical as original, new style ones only, do you know how to transfer data from original to new style one since all the internal components are different?

No need to be identical and plenty of those keys available from ebay etc.

And for IM600 benz key programming they state it will be added soon but for this time not possible.

IM600 tech support allowed to download Benz software but doesn’t work for this particular issue. I’m trying to solder NEC eeprom on good PCB but can you tell me how to store files form eeprom, I don’t know where to solder wires.

With such questions I do not know why you took this kind of job...

    But yeah, EIS is enough...

    Yes.
And better if you have tools and test platform for this job.

I think so. I buy equipment that promises to do it and then it doesn’t, tech support is not top notch if, it you know what I mean. So I’m forced seek info on forums and stuff.
