Good day dear people, thanks a lot for let me be in this forum.

Let me explain, here in my coutry I bought a car from an auction and imported the car, a VW Passat 2006 2.0TFSI that has been without operation for about 2 years, the first trouble started with the steering lock module, even the dealer wasn't able to start it.

I downloaded the dump from the Komfort module and the Steering lock module, could you please help me to decipher both dumps???, I wish if you can help me to obtain the PIN and CS codes from the Comfort module and see if there are keys authorized and if so which ones. I read mine with ZedBull and ID is B2 61 E3 7C.

    Thanks a lot in advannce.

    Erwin.

    Data in comfort module dump

    PIN - 64154
    CS - 67 AB 1F C0 CF 56 3F

    You have 1 registered key.

    Do you have a key?
If so can you switch ignition on?

    Thanks a lot Alex,

I will try tomorrow morning. I have only one key for the car and I wish if I can make another spare key for the car.

I have ignition with the key but once the engine starts it does in less than one second.

    Many thanks Alex.

    Erwin.

Just a question, do I need something more to have the security access to the Comfort Module?, I tried before the same code with no success. The car starts just for one second and then goes off.

    Thank you.

If your engine starts and stops in second then you key is recognized.
    Do you have VCDS?
    - read faults in engine and immo.
    - check groups 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in "measuring blocks" in immo (25 address) and post here.

Good Night Alex. I hope all is running all right on your side. Thanks a lot for your help.

Here are some pictures I have obtained with from groups 1 to 5.

I am looking that there is no voltage comming from the steering module.

    Thank you.

    Hello Erwin.
    - First of all you should let expire locking time (116 minutes for tester). Connect charger and keep ignition "On" till count became "0". Otherwise immo will not accept even right login. Upon expiration of locking time and entering correct login you have to wait 5 minutes in adaption channel before procedure become available. Not sure that you know how to learn key to this vehicle in details
    - In immo dump was 1 registered key but then "0". It means that you entered correct login and key was wiped out while wrong key learning procedure.
    - I see that "Key status OK - No". This means that transponder in key is: absent, type other than 48 or pure 48 (not 48CAN/TP23) and definitely not yours. Check. So i wonder how you can switch ignition on. With ignition off you are not able to crank engine. If you don't have transponder belonging exactly to your car you need to precode new one (48CAN/TP23 or pure Megamos 48 converted into 48CAN/TP23) with your CS. And after that only you will be able to finally adapt key to your vehicle.
    - When you will successfully teach key then we can think further.
    - If you are able to switch ignition on without transponder in key so something made wrong with wiring and you should restore as it was at factory or make immo off in engine.

    BRgds
    Alex

P.S. You may simply write immo (comfort module) eeprom back to restore your key again.
