    Default VW Passat B7 2012 not switching on, No start

    Hi everone i have VW Passat 2.0 TDI 2012 VIN: WVWZZZ3CZCP052468, car is not switching on when inserting key.
    Removed comfort module to check key coding, key is coded to car And checked fuses.

    Get VCDS or any other diagnostic to check fault codes first.

    Connect Pin 1 with 16 in OBD2 . Check on diagnostic wath module is damage I thing getaway is faulty, ELV lock or Main relay on BCM module

    check the steering lock it may be damaged . if it's the case , try to remove it and unlock it manuelly then you'll be able to make switch on . after , you will need to replace it or just need to make immo off . i try it many times and worked fine .

    Thanks buddy unlocking steering lock manually got the car to turn on but wont crank, the car had no ecu client bought used ecu can it be the couse
    of not cranking?

    to start the car you need to make immo off to the ecu

    Car will crank with any ECU , with Immo kicking it will run 2-3 seconds and turn off. So it does not matter immo off or On, car has to crack.

    I had funny situation a while ago. Customer recovered 2011 Audi A5 to us. It was bought from auction with no history on it. No lights on dash at all. No reaction on ignition. We checked everything but couldn’t find the fault.
    Turns out 2 dead remote key. Coded new ones and all started.
    I know A5 is different than passat but worth to check that as well.

    key is fine remote still works and key is still coded to comfort module

    Hello , I have same problem , with VCDS I have error on J527 and G85 - no signal/comunication
    How to unlock the steering lock manually ?
