    Default Ford Transit Cluster Problem

Hey, I have a problem with a ford transit 2004 2.4td. Van came in with Instrument Cluster problem where it doesnt show mileage, speedo doesnt work and also there is no rev counter or engine temp. I have a u1262 fault in the cluster. Customer said that all of this happened after the engine was changed. I have tried a few different clusters but all do the same thing. I read somewhere that some of the ecus from older engines need to be reprogrammed to work with the hybrid electric clusters? Customer doesnt know if the ecu etc. was changed along with the engine. Anybody has any suggestions as to what I might need to do? All wires from cluster to the ecu are checked and good. I am quite literally stuck. Any help would be appreciated.
