I have already soldered new pcf7941 to boards where people damaged the chip. Working fine, as long you get good PCF7941 chips. There are fake chinese ones around.
You just have to keep in mind that Astra-H and Corsa-D remotes are different.

After putting a new pcf on keyfob pcb, you can code the pcf and start the car, but 90% of cases, the keyfob will not work with centralized closing.
PS @calin_bm... Cauta o cheie completa, gasesti rapid in tara (olx)sub 50euro. Si ai rezolvat treaba. Nu tw mai chinui cu Xprog, Orange 5 sau VVDI cu renew si sa nu mearga!

I will translate you the PS part... It's much easier and handy to buy a complete key under 50EURO and do a secure job, instead of renewing it with VVDI, Orange 5 or Xprogp(if theese tools can do that).
I am saying that after virginising the pcf, most of keyfobs will be programmed to the immo, but the remote closing will not work!
