    Default Saab 9-3 BIG problem.

    Hi,

    I damaged dashboard of SAAB 9-3 1.9TID 2006.
Later I tried to read 93LC66 from CIM, and I broke one the leg during cleaning (I'm very talented).
I haven't got DASH and CIM dumps.

    I'm looking for the solution.
    1. I can buy spare parts from other car.
    What should I buy? ECU + Key(s) + Steering Lock + Dash +CIM + REC?
What about other modules. Will they work? Radio, Door modules .....

    2. I have other working dash. If I find virgin CIM dump, wil I be able to program "new" CIM and used DASH?
Where can I find TIS2000 for SAAB?

    Logically, you are right.
But practically Kiszka you are wrong about you, my friend.

If you just broke the leg on 93lc66 in CIM just replace the chip don't need another complete module. You probably can even get a read still from the 93lc66. Just make some kind of contact with where the leg was. you should see a tiny contact area left.

I have a virgin CIM file that you can add old keys into but you need a tech2, saab card & security access using saab global TIS in order to configure it. Like every post has mentioned. Do you have these?

Not much of a dash guy so can't help there.

I have tried several hours to read 93lc66, but no success. A leg hasn't been broken down, but it pull out inside chip.
I have tech2 saab. I have other working dash (the same nr).
Can you share virgin cim dump for me?

    heat + prying = destruction

If ic is stuck on pcb with a little glue on bottom then tiny twisting motions works much better then prying.
