Hello eksperts.

I have searched high and low, but i simply cannot find the correct procedure for finetune of the rear camshaft (outlet), on the vw 2.0 tdi 16V. Engine code BKD

The front cam (inlet) controls the pump, and adjusting this one will result in Torsion values (VCDS gr. 004 measure block 4) changes. In a single cam tdi normally this is the only thing you bother about, adjusting the cam to a torsion value near zero.

On the BKD engine the outlet cam is running the injectors. But as said i cannot find aby guides on how to adjust the outlet cam. No other than to lock the crankshaft, and the the locking pins should go into both the in and outlet cam, then all should be good. But it should be possible to finetune the outlet cam as well - but which parameter in vcds should i be adjusting after. A lot of places around the net, its says that it should be adjusted after consumption in idle ( 0.6l/h ) , but i think thats a bit fluffy.

Any good ideas or links ?
