    Default Opel DvD90 headunit safe

Hi. My friend had DVD90+Cid retrofited to his Vectra C.
When he decided to put CDC40+Cid. He deactivated theft prorection with opcom in both pairs, then put CDC40+Cid and activated theft protectiom. After that CDC40 had message HEADUNIT SAFE. If i remember correct after theft protection deactivation message always is DISPLAY SAFE.
After done this is impossible now to deactivate theft protection in Cdc40 and in dvd90, both units gives message Headunit safe. Is possible to fix this? I can read cid, dvd90 and cdc40 eeproms if needed.
    Thanks in advance!

Don't know for 100%. He said that opcom showed OK.
And after few days he played and touched something in DIS programing, after that Headunit safe appeared.

Ask him to check code index, that there is no device present which are not onboard.

Sounds like your opcom is china clone? they don't always unregister correctly..
Post dumps from radio and display and I'll unregister them correctly for you

Before pairing check MID Speed CAN Bus Settings. It must be correct and the same for DIS and EHU.
    It's a most common mistake

CAN configurations are the same, but still no success :/
Tried two opcoms and my own tech2. Can be the problem that DIS has active alarm ( "U2139 - Invalid data from cim" )? One time ago i couldn't pair UHP4 when microphone was disconnected.

At first check mid speed can configuration in EHU and DIS, must be the same like in car! (DIS present, EHU present, ECC, UHP and DAB present or not). You can register not divorced radio (not delivery state) only if you have DIVORCED (delivery state) display and code from radio. If you have both piece from another cars and not divorced you need to change eeprom in DIS or EHU to delivery state. You can check status n data blocks, also there is info about remaining tries to divorced and security time, if it is active you can do nothing (need to wait to inactive).
