    Default Siemens PCR2.1 cloning

    Hello,

    Got 2 ecus with same data and need to clone as the original one as water damage.

    How can i do this?

    Just have CMD and KTAG original devices were the car is located.

    You need a tool capable of read bootmode full tricore dump and eeprom.

    As far as i know member edc17tricore can do proper data migration with that dumps.

    KTAG geniune can read MCU, so read full and write full all done

    Did you try that personally yourself?

    Don't know if pcr2.1 has otp activated on tricore processor thus preventing to do raw full clone and end with a 1:1 working clone ecu.

    I don't tested, but my friend has doned this job. Normaly you cannot read processor and need adapt 2nd ecu with AVDI. He cloned and car started all ok

    KTAG does not support cloning this ecu.

    X17 can do it plus magic service. you cant just read and write.
