Need help for change mileage on edc17cp54 vw crafter cave have 64559 km need 0 km dump from eeprom atached thanks !

I want to do the best work possible. Furthermore i want to get knowledge how that kind of hardware works in cars.
In another topic a guy said that the official VAG Software in their Workshops, i hope its odis, can read the true mileage in edc17. If that is true why not change it in ecu if technically the possibility is there.

How about VAG DASH CAN 5.29? It can do reading and correction of mileage via OBD2 in edc15 and edc16.
