    Default Honda accord 2008 - 2012 MLBHLIK-1T

Have these keys and when handy baby scans them it says PSW mode on most of them. Had a job earlier and none of these would be accepted but had one that scanned under CPI mode and it worked. This is the first time I've noticed this difference but explains all the times I had trouble programming until finding a key that worked. Are the PSW mode keys used on certain models even or are these key bunk? Need to order more CPI mode keys but the ebay sellers don't know what I'm talking about when I ask them. If there are two different variants, PSW and CPI mode, which models and year use CPI for sure?

Also tried to edit the PSW mode to CPI on the other ones but it would fail. Guess that's not going to work.

Actually didn't know that about 2 and 4 door, but I'm talking about the transponder here. Seems like only ones in CPI mode scanned with handy baby will work but I have about 6 that scan as PSW mode and wondering if that some cars uses these and some use CPI, or do I just have a bunch of weird keys?

yeap 2 doors are slightly rare though it seems

any time im heading to a car or someone even calls about it i google it and i look it up at a few internet retailers by make model and year (takes maybe 10-15 seconds)

    why?

it probably saves my ass twice or three times a week from wasting my time for hours possibly.

time my man is worth more than anything in this life

spend 10 minutes now so you dont waste hours later

might be a bunch of weird keys......

open them up and see if the internals are any different

maybe its a chip on circuit board

    or separate chip

    pop em open and see

take a pic or two post em

id be interested to see if theres a visual difference or if its solely internal
