Hi,

i need mileage correction for a Polo 6n2. Motomter Dash. Year 2001.

Original Mileage is somthing about 223xxx km.

New: 162333 km

If somebody needs the pinout to light up this Motometer dash on table:

Blue connector

Pin 1 Positive +
Pin 24 GND -

Dont forget to reset service

Rest of Pins if you want to make diagnostic are

Pin1 - Ignition
Pin9 - GND
Pin23 - 30 (+)
Pin24 - GND
Pin25 - KLINE

Hello, I'm just asking initially if this thread is still being monitored, as I could do with a bit of help with my 6n2's motometer instrument cluster. My old cluster failed recently, apparently corrupting the contents of the eeprom in the process, as copying its contents into my replacement IC makes it generate the same 'error' text on the display, luckily re-flashing the new IC's chip with its backed up original contents sorts it out again. However I could really do with fixing the mileage which is reading considerably higher on the new instrument cluster. I can provide dumps of both eeproms which based on previous posts is what is needed, if indeed the old one has valid mileage data at all.
