Clio Mk 2 2001 UCH swap and others

Hallo,i got a Clio 2 from 11/2001 hope someone can help me.

The car run's but sometimes some lights are flashing,also the red Immo lamp is permanently glowing but fash as normal too when no key is in.I saw that the UCH haves watermarks in it and a bit oft corrosion.

I know there is a 8 pin chip with the data for immo and key? Would it work to buy a used identic UCH and swap the Chip?So will the car than run?

Edit: Or should i try to resolder anything in the Uch?

Problem 2. With the Car comes only 1 Key.It's a plip Key.I went to Ren.Dealer an they will get 140€ for a second Key.I speak with an Key smith an he told me there are two different Key boards one with ID 46 and one with ID 47.How i can know witch Key i need.There are many cheap Keys in the Internet. And what i need to code the Key to the car.The Key smith says Ren.Dealer can't code aftermarket Keys only original.

Hallo, i opend the key.There is nothing to see if it a id46 or id47 key.when i know the ID for example it is an id46 and i buy a cheap new one.can i desolder the chip,buy a eeprom Programm er and Software,read the chip and copy data to New key?it seems cheaper than buy orig key.please can someone tell me what i need for this?greetings

Oh,my mistake.
I checked the key pcb one more time.now with magnifying glass.now i can read PCF7946AT.
Means that i need a ID46 Key?Sorry for my beginner questions,but anybody starts sometimes.Maybe In a few weaks i also able to help somebody.greetings

if uch has similar version just transfer the contents of 93c66. in some cases it should only be revised using Clip Renault.

The early key usualy went with the early headlamps,
push remote button and the remote flashes twice, the later key (yours) flashes about 4 times and fades.
The early key battery is fixed to the black case, the later key (yours) sits on the curcuit board.

The immo light flashes once a second, turn key = flashes fast = doesnt get or like key code,
turn key light goes solid = cant comunicate with ecu, well roughly speaking.
Start checking fuses and relays in fuse box near battery.
Be careful not to introduce more faults.

Try a second key,and then,you have the option to do immo off in ecu,or just copy the eeprom of the uch.

Post the dump of uch you'll get the pin to recode with clip renault
