Default Prog 95080 Which tool to us?

    Hi all,

I have been looking around to do my first read/write on a 95080 eeprom, i am coming across alot of software/hardware for the job, most of them are very expenive for me who buy now is only experementing.

The carprog looks like a good tool since i am going to read the eeprom of an airbag module. I found that teh chinese version is at a fair price but i hope it will do the job.

Hence my question can someone suggest a good tool fit for the purpose to read and write the 95080?

    Thank you.

I have downloaded the xprog software 5.55 all looks ok, been messing around with it. Should I look for a particular version or is the most recent the better?

To identify the pinouts and connections I have opened the list of devices however under the Infineon, the only package making sense is the LQFP64 belonging to XC2336B as this is the only package I have on the board.

My question now is, how am I supposed to identify the IC that needs coding and the Code as the XC2336B or 95080?
I tried searching for the datasheets of all ICs I have in the module, but I cannot find any information which can lead me back on track.
Is there some kind of directly or general rule that I am missing?

Just an update, i found the 95080 ic it was on the opposite side of the pcb buried under the sticky lacquer. Will try to read/write as soon as i get my xprog or carprog.
Both look good tools i think i am going for carprog though.

    Please ignore my previous post.
