Default smart fortwo ecu cant be written to

i have a 03 smart cabrio 450 and accidentally put the wrong map on it, since then the stock map cant be written to the ecu with kess, mercedes c5 might be able to write a file using vediamo or monaco but i have .ori for kess and not diogenes format.

the key works the car just wont start (no spark or fuel)

any ideas how to write to this?

try to use galletto 2... but you have Ori...? how you read ori...?

I personally never used vediamo (monaco not possible) to flash MEG... but you have nothing to loose...
connect vediamo... go to MEG_450... change options connections K-Line from pin1 to 7...

not can convert ori to cbf,

you need cff file, not cbf file !!! and not not can conver ori to cff

but not need convert, in your xentry install have all cff files from smart 450 units seek in your hard disk , the file is zipped #cff, sdflash folder

if your car is 03 450 , can use meg 1.0 or meg 1.1 599cc or 699cc engine

i found the cff and opened ecoute and tried to open the flash option, i earthed out pin 24 to enable boot mode and ecoute sees into the ecu a bit better but still no flash option available.

i can see services for mode 1 but no value unit or metric also.

i looked in extras/options for the ability to change pin 7 to pin 1 it seems im in the wrong options

Not pin 7 to pin 1....
Change it from pin 1 to pin 7... Pin 7 is k line...
You don't need boot pin... For writing...

    You worked before with vediamo...?

Or try by soldering... It goes fast...
Open ECU... You will see flash... 29F... Solder it down... You can do it with TL866... Or also other... clean legs and everything will be good...
