Just manually changed the long coding in the cent convenience module (Byte 7 Bit 7) which doesnt seem to show up on the helper on the passat module but Its now registering a fold input from the switch. Will refit the powerfold mirrors again tomorrow and report back.

Passat B6 Retrofit Powerfolding mirrors.
I have a 2010 passat which is pretty much poverty spec. I have come by some powerfold mirrors and switch and I have VCDS. Today I fitted a PF mirror and switch and turned on the folding mirror option in both door modules. So far I have nothing and when I try and read values back from mirror switch it says that I dont have PF mirrors. I have checked the circuit diagrams and I have all the relevant wiring from what I can see. I think I need to enable the folding mirrors in another module but damned if I can find it.
Does anyone have any clues where else I would need to enable this or do i need to replace another module for a higher line version?
