Did you try to power ECU direct?
Also not sure if 5amp is enough the supply I use is 15-20amp

Use Power direct to ECU -> 12V & GND to the ECU Pin's and Can HI & Can LO from Ktag
i did many sid 208 ford but i used always supply 12V 2A!
Forget the cloned tools for this ecu, it does not work, clone Ktag on this ecu. Ktag genuine this ECU (SID208) works through the OBD without any problem.
Only information is already available, and Ktag genuine can sometimes make a problem and report an error (no communication).
But when everything is repeated (re-read) the operation then passes and there is no problem, I do not know why this is happening.
I use a voltage regulator of 14V and 5A.
For this problem, I have contacted Alientech and their response is "Change the voltage regulator" power supply.
