Question Remote on Mitsubishi Outlander 2014+

I’ve been having some issues programming remotes on Outlanders 2014+, I can program the Key just fine after programming with the Tcode, but the remotes don’t actually work.

I know in older models(diamond shape key) I had to do a procedure where I pressed both lock and unlock for 3 seconds and then the unlock button for 3 seconds and it would pair the remote with the system, but on the rectangle shape keys (FAST?) can’t seem to get any instructions or know how to get the remote to work, I can just get the key working.

I have available right now TCode, xtool, Launch X431Pro.

If anyone has experience with these tools with the Outlander 2014+ please let me know. I’ll be purchasing new equipment soon, but would like to know if it’s limitation within my current equipment or lack of knowledge on my part.

Thanks, but not the one with the knob, but push to start. I've seen a video on abrites doing it but it does all the programming at once the key and the remote, but I don't have an abrites to test it, just the Tcode, xtool x100 and the Launch X431. On the video of abrites I don't see any interaction with the remote, so thinking it might be the equipment I have can program the keys but not the remotes. Unless there is a button sequence I am unaware of and it's not mentioned in the programmer.

Yep same FCCID and frequency on both keys. tried with regular china ones and OEM, just in case the remote was crap, but I never get to any option to program the remote. As mentioned I tried what I used to do on the other Mitsubishi keys which was the 3 second hold on lock and unlock and then 3 seconds on lock, but seems that is only for the other type of key and older models.

The Key programs just fine, it's the remote part that won't lock/unlock vehicule.

I’ve programmed about 20 of theses using AVDI no issues.
The remote function goes in automatically when programing
l use china keys from autokeys the only issue is the boot button doesn’t work in the 3 button version (outlander GX4 model)
    with oringal key working fine
