Hello masters….
today I open a module from Ford, and what i see… resistors on edge of pcb are dissoldered…. I try resolde but without success… i try again and again… and nothing…. but the bad part, is the plates for solder are disappearing and the soldering wire dont attach….
someone have a diagram from module??? To try in another solder in another points??? And someone know what type of resistors are??? How many oms??
thanks in advance

Nope , not compatible
Hello guys! I have a question about the capacitor marked as 156-35k. Usually, I see pictures with that condensator showing a black dot, but I saw some pictures of PSG16 modules without this "dot".
My question is if this capacitor can be blown, or is just a paint dot that they add at factory. Is the one circled on red.

My pump blown the drain fillament. I tried to rescue the ECU, soldering a modified 20A fuse, but it blown the source fillaments instantly after trying to crank. Actually, I´ve noticed that the FET looked damaged before this, as I saw on the picture of the fuse installed before closing and trying to start.

At this moment, I have an IRLR3110Z ready for install, and some thermal glue for gluing it to the old FET body.
I guess it won't matter if I solder the new fet to the top of the old one, or glue it on, I´m correct? Drain is on pin 2 and 4 (back) of this FET looking to datasheet, and the original one should be glued and isolated to the ecu chassis, right? In doubt, I´ve chosen gluing by default (I´ve saw both methods on some videos).
I´ve also bought for the occasion a coil of lead free tin from Weller, Sn with 3%Ag and 0,5%Cu. I know that the wetting is difficult to get, but should clean it all with IPA alcohol before.

I will assembly the new FET soon, but not pretty sure if this is going to solve the issue or if any other component on the board is damaged. Any help is welcome! Is a sad problem that a lot of this nice cars are going to the crapyard because an inexpensive part of a silly desing.
Greetings from Spain!
