#anjo008 How do you remove that caps from ceramic board? They aren`t just solder, they are fixed with epoxy aswell.

I damaged the pad where the drain connects to the circuit board, anyone know an alternative conection point?

    PSG_board_pad.jpg

Does anyone know what the drain terminal connects to on the circuit board pictured? A flyback diode perhaps?
What about the other drain connection pin on the bottom right corner? Is this one of the solenoid leads? Which is the other solenoid lead?
Is there a schematic or circuit diagram available so I can better understand this circuit?

I cannot see any reason for the mosfet drain to be connected to the circuit board, other than for transient protection of the mosfet. Because I can't solder to the PCB drain pad, I propose to fit my own protection zener diodes as pictured. Any thoughts on this?

Is there any information showing points where the solenoid wires connect to the PSG? I'd rather not interfere with the insulation on the solenoid wires to find out.
