Go back in the thread to about page 3 or 4, there is loads of info.
Then read the discussions on the rest of the pages to sift the bullshit from the gold dust.

A big thanks to everybody who has contributed to this thread

    For aktiv22:
Do you have the complete software for VP44 and not only a DEMO version?

Looking at the faulty VP30 pump that I have off my Rover 45, I thought that I would check the MOSFET mentioned in this thread. I've taken the top off the EDC unit, but I cannot see how you get access to the pcb. There are two t10 screws on the top, which I've removed, but I still can't remove the plastic cover. Any advice please?

The electronic device from my pump VP44 is broken and I want to ask if you have some informations how to fix the problem. The error is : Fuel Pump Speed/Position Sensor Signal Lost . I saw that many defects are related to transistor. Know how to change transistor ( where is G S and D pins on board ) or how to see if the sensors work ok? I know that Pins 6 and 7 ( FPCM connector ) is for power 6 GND and 7 power 12 V but when the power is on ....I don't see any power signal to sensors terminals and of course the sensors can not return signal . I want to mention that I work in electronics domain and I have all necessary equipment .

Many thanks for that. I notice that on the first picture it says not to remove the screws on top (the two t10), but on the second and third pictures they are removed. Which is correct? I did remove them on mine, while trying to get to the pcb, would that do any harm?

BTW, I may have located some FDB44N25 mosfets. Not certain yet, but if I get them I might have some to sell. Would anybody here be interested?

    Default VP30

Is there anyway to test solenoid wich is driven by transistor (one hat burns)?? When I measured it with multimeter it gives about 1 ohm resistance. Resistance is same in my other Focus (in diyly use) with vp30 pump.
