    Well, you can be sure that the solenoid coil is not open-circuit, but not that it doesn't have shorted turns - unless you have a very accurate meter, with a 'divide by' function. If you can remove the solenoid , you could bench test it, by applying a test voltage from a suitable source and checking if it switches - or by measuring the current flow through it.

    Does somebody know what component is that,shown on picture.
    In my unit all small wires are open from there.

    It is difficult to see clearly, but it looks like a surface-mounted iintegrated circuit.

    I am from Estonia and I have Ford Focus 1,8td. 1999year
    I have the same problem, the pump is dead.

    If you want I can replace the solenoid control transistor.
    Other things in Estonia,i think you know :
    Diislimeister O? or Karla Auto
    New ecm 6700.- eek,Programming and adjustment 3800.-
    I have 320d and also trying to find cheapest way to fix it.

    in that picture it-s an eeprom something like 24c04 or 95po8

    Are you sure,it looks like all wires are connected to same plate.
    4 wires from right goes to -12V
    ........ it?s realy possible 24c04
    Did you ever change it,where to get a dump?

    onli ,,carprog'' can really do that!

    and about that eeprom.... i dont think is posible to change it... everything is posible, i know that, but is too much work for nothing!

    Hi all !! There is a way to test the functionality of the computer pump when the pump is out of the car . For exaple to connect FPCM to computer and software to be able to simulate and receive data from the pump ?

    Is it possible to take PSG5 electronic module from another car pump ?
    Does somebody have a new or used ECM for sale?

    yes! read:

    BMW: you can swap the pump and after that you can syncronize-it with inpa!

    OPEL: just ,,plug and play'' (from opel to opel)

    AUDI: just ,,plug and play'' (from audi to audi)

    FORD: i am not sure

    SAAB: just ,,plug and play''

    Where you from in Estonia?
    And how much is your tax for replacing this transistor?
