Hello, i have a vectra b x20dth with 1220 error code that i have read with op.com fw 1.45. Looking at live data there is a big gap between desired and actual injection time angle. So i would like to read the code stored in the pump's ECU but how to do it? my op -com have the special function for psg5 but it don't work if i connect op-com to the obd2 socket. (i have psg5 pump, the one with only one connector. Thasnk you for any help.

hello, i'm back for my feedback
i have posted some picture before, it was my solenoid who was melt, so the pump was dead because of it and i was getting P1630 fault code : low gasoil pressure, i have changed this solenoid and now my car is on the road again

if you have P1630 fault code take a look to this solenoid !

Hi have -02 transit with vp30. Got codes p1664 and p1564. Forscan odb scanner reported also from FIP module (fuel injection pump) status4 error (angle of rotation sensor)
Is there a way to test the angle of rotation sensor (IWZ was it?) With multimeter or oscilloscope?

Trying to confirm if its faulty before digging in to ecm to check for the transistor...

and can i get the password also..

hello, if you are talking about the rotation sensor inside the pump you can check the value with multimeter you should get this:
pin 1 is the the first from down
    you will get
    pin1>pin2 =180ohme
    pin1>pin3 and PIN1>pin4 = 130ohme
you can have a litte difference.
    hope this will help you

I want to do output test for fuel quantity solenoid valve, want to test the replaced circuit without the car.
I think we can do bench test on VP44 only with right CAN commands! I`m on a working tool to sniff the data send between VP pump and ECU. After that, need to decode the commands sent from ECU to VP to energize solenoids.

    BR!

Hello I perhaps need some help /experience

    Car is Audi A6 2.5TDI

    Dont start
    No errors on car

Only error found directly in PSG5 Ecu ( with dennis software)

    It says :

"57 Timing device control. Permanent control deviation (30)"

What does it really mean???? I suposse error is repeated for 30 times?

I repeat car has no errors, module seems good....

Even Ive opened and found it is the new one version ( Original Fet has been modified with 3 wires, if you remember older Vp44 modules has only 2 wires). I have never found one of these in bad condition.

So I really dont Know where is the problem...

Any little help will be appreciated.

    Hi all,

    I have a Audi 2,5 TDI 2001 allroad quattro.
The old PSG5 has been destroyed because of short circuit.
I bought a used one in ebay but I can't start motor and have the following errors:
    2 Errors found:
    01318 - Steuerger?t f?r Einspritzpumpe (J399)
    37-00 - defekt
    01318 - Steuerger?t f?r Einspritzpumpe (J399)
    49-00 - keine Kommunikation

Block 18 shows the following values
    19:35:17 Block 018: Einspritzpumpe
    0.00 V Voltage (Injection pump
    11.55 V Voltage (Motorsteuerger?t)
    00000000 Status Injection pump
    0000 Impulsauswertung Motordrehzahl

Maybe someone could help me. What could be the reason for the 0.00V on injection pump.

    Thank you very much.

There is some very goo info here, thank you very much. I have a question though.. What happens if the PSG5 is not coded to the car? what are the symptoms?

Hello all PSG5 yes the code module for a vehicle with immobilizer code.
So even a new module must be recoded.
before switching module or transistor think has verify that the solenoid stop son and pressure regulator are not touching among them because every time I exchange an electronic unit had grid due to the short circuit the son of solenoid valves were stripped .
