    Default gammon with honey glaze

depending on the size of you joint calculate the time based on 30 mins per lb and boil the gammon joint for half the total time.
let it stand so you can cut the rind off but dont cut the fat underneath off .
then score the fat in a diamond shape all across. mix the paste and spread all over.place the gloves inbetween all the diamonds roast on gas mark 6 for the remaider of the time

great with your turkey on xmas day

I love gammon this way and this is a really good glaze recipe.

Have you tried boiling the gammon in full sugar coke with a couple of onions in. I saw this on a Nigella program and do it most times now. It gives a really good taste to the gammon and you can even add some of the cooking liquid to the glaze.

    Gammon Yum
