i know thats in all such devices is installed windows ce

but i need to know what navi software o you have on it
for example igo destinator etc and i must know with version of the soft u have and what maps do u need for it

for ex. all eu
or only one like UK

im waiting for ur answer

ok so i'm on the ABOUT screen on my icn 550 satnav and it says build . 3.90.1049
tha maps for uk would be best
not sure what else i can tell you its a navman icn550 running smart st

Unfortunately the trick didn't work.
I mean: I was able to update the navigator software to a newer version (09.04.09 if I can remember well), but when the system rebooted it asked me to reinstall the maps and of course noticed the disc was a backup copy. I tried to reinstall the 2008/2009 maps, but doing this I was forced to downgrade to the older software version.

Thanks anyway, it was worth a try
