    forcus C-max

Bet customer thought he'd come in to Arkwrights shop in open all hours

customer comes in for broken spring on n/s/f

Leaves with a bill for nearly a grand.

Pulls the vehicle in N/S brake binding like mad, removed wheel caliper rubber torn and piston corroded, customer advised, "do what it needs" was the retort.

Caliper, pads, spring still binding, cable poor , i'll fit a cable, nothing at the after market boys, try the stealer, yes need new complete unit 620+

    WTF

can't they design one with detachable cables ****s.

changed one on a disco3 that lived in the sea, I think that unit was only about 300 but the labour made up for it.

Yeah drop the colon, SLICE your hand charge costomer lots of money.

Pug 406 - same, had a bet with "Nosher", drop colon, and fit - no idea how he did it, but he DID do it in like 15 mins, without dropping the colon - cost me a horse burger that did.

something about he did it through the clutch pedal from behind!?!?

I can do them without dropping column. Just needs to take air vent out and drill off one pop rivet for air duct then grow fingers about 10inch longer, squeeze hand thru holes and between wiring looms and job done. About 20 mins if you are lucky. Crap idea anyway.

I must agree with all ya, Frech are the most fu**ed up manufactures.
I personally own Acura RL 2006, they have touch sensors which eventually fail, anyway i have decided to fix them. Well the door handle i singleuse only, but i have dissassembled without much damage, take out he sensor... And gues what! There are writen in BIG letters - VALEO. And thats french...

No matter how many peugeots, citroens i have repaired (eletronics) they all are the same brand, but they are fuc**ng diffferent. You just cant remember what was where, because colors, nubering and locationsa are different in each car!!

You have to be really careful these days when take a car apart, if not, when put together, you may end up with a different brand
I got used over the years not to blame the brand or nationality of the car...........siemens/bosch/valeo/trw/luk/sachs/ngk/beru/....
and so on is written all over the parts that fail ....
Manufacturers fail big time on the drawing board....
A bulb failure is NOT a malfunction and should be an easy job to do !
Try do this in the middle of the night by the side of the road (that is the time most drivers notice!!!)

A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection
